A few months ago, Erika’s life changed unexpectedly. What began as a small infection turned into a serious health crisis, leaving her unable to work. She’s now facing a long recovery, and during this time, she and her husband are struggling to make ends meet.

With only one income—or sometimes none—it’s been hard to keep up with rent, bills, and basic necessities. Her husband, who is a veteran and served in the Airforce, has been doing all he can, caring for Erika while trying to stay afloat, but they can’t do it alone anymore.
