I'm Ellie, Erika’s daughter, and we're trying to save up to pay for my mom's medical treatment that she’s aiming to receive in the USA. We've been talking about it for years, trying to save dollars and find jobs, but we're in a very tight financial state every month after the necessary bills and food that we never have enough left even for a doctor's appointment, let alone for the future. She has over 6 chronic illnesses, along with severe depression and anxiety, that wear her down more and more every day, and we're both afraid of the long-term effects.

My mom has been apprehensive about opening a fundraiser, but it's nearing a time where we have less and less options, and I'm worried that one day we won't be able to do anything anymore. We’ve exhausted everything. She’s suffering from more symptoms and issues every day. The latest issue is in her knees, giving out and collapsing and breaking. I decided it's finally time to open this to hopefully have something for us to share a better future together.
