Hi there, I'm Erika!

I'm seeking help to avoid eviction, repossession of my car, and support covering the cost of basic necessities so that I'm able to keep the job I just got last week.

I was laid off from my tech job last year November and have been actively pursuing a new job since then. Up until this point I've been able to just barely make ends meet. Not knowing how long I would be unemployed meant I had to cut all expenses that weren't directly supporting my most important needs. I've had to stop paying for things like car insurance, car registration, apartment insurance and have been delinquent on paying for crucial expenses like electricity bill, gas bill, car note, etc. for months now. I was able to sustain my basic needs with unemployment insurance and the savings that I had at the time I was let go, both of which are now completely depleted.

I have a background in fashion as a seamstress, tailor, and stylist and opened up my schedule to the public to provide mobile alteration and styling services after I was laid off. I've had the pleasure of providing my services to handful of very wonder women and while I'm slowly building a clientele base its not been at a rate that can sustain my basic necessities just yet.

In the last week was able to secure a job as a sales associate, which I'm so grateful for. Unfortunately I wont be paid enough in time to pay off the necessary expenses that will allow me keep the new position.

I never imagined that I would be in a situation like this and I'm so very grateful that you took the time to read my story.
