My name is Kevin Carricato, and I am raising funds for Erika and Doug Gardner. Erika was diagnosed with liver cancer over the summer, and unfortunately, the recent news was devastating. Erika was given only a few weeks to live, and the news was devastating to all who know her. She is a huge fan and supporter of the Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team and cheered the team on at both home and away games for many years. Erika was forced to stop working due to her illness, and Doug has worked as much as possible while staying by Erika’s side during her illness. Erika and Doug often treated my son Salvatore like he was their son when we couldn’t travel to North Carolina during the past three years.
