My name is Erik, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing homelessness right as the holidays approach. For the past several months, I’ve been staying with friends, but now I have nowhere else to go. I’ve found an apartment that I can rent, even with my bad credit history, but I need help covering the deposit and first month’s rent so I can move in before I lose my current place on Christmas Eve.

This experience has taken a real toll on my mental health. I struggle with depression and PTSD, and not having a stable place to live has made things even harder.
