Hi, my name is Erik and I'm hoping to raise a small fund to help me eat, buy gas and pay my bills while I continue to wait for my divorce settlement. ( After 5 months my savings and credit are used up and what I earn delivering is mostly needed to pay bills.) Any week, now is what I'm being told. I am disabled and living in my car but that isn't as bad as it sounds. I've met plenty of folks here who aren't that lucky. A thousand dollars would be enough to stock up with everything I need, and keep a reserve fund for gas or a place to stay if there's an emergency (like a huge blizzard) and I can't just park somewhere to sleep. Anything I receive over that will used to help some of the other homeless people I've met. I can at least stay warm at night. A lot of people here can't without help. Thanks.
