Help Erik recover. Organized by Kelly Wood

Hi! My name Kelly and my husband Erik unfortunately had a heart attack a few days ago. We quickly called 911 and got him to the hospital where they ran all sorts of tests, EKG, CT, chest xray, ultrasound and lots of blood work. Heart conditions run in his family, his dad and brother both had heart attacks last year. Fortunately for them, stints were used in their healing process. Unfortunately for Erik his situation is much more serious. Erik's heart has 90% blockage and is only working at about 50%. On Friday, May 6th he was supposed to undergo a triple bypass surgery and begin the road to recovery, but unfortunately he tested postive fo Covid and the surgery is postponed until he tests negative. He will most likely be in the hospital for another week and a half or so. We are very fortunate we got him in when we did.

The recovery will be 2-3 months in which can he will not be able to work or lift anything including our 2 month old daughter Olivia. We are not looking forward to the medical bill that is sure to occur in result of this.

We are asking for any help with paying these bills. With help, this will assure us a small piece of mind that we can make medical payments as well as pay our rent and other monthly bills. Anything helps and we appreciate anything, anyone can donate to this amazing man I love to call my husband.
