Hi, I'm Erik. I'm guessing you're wondering what dumb thing I could be asking for help raising funds for. A cruise to some faraway place where I could sip rum drinks with little umbrellas in them? Or maybe a trip to Disney to get a picture with the mouse? While those things sound fun in their own right, I'm here to ask for help with something way less cool and slightly scary.

Last summer, I was having pain in my lower right abdomen. I went to the ER; they took scans, after everything came back clear they sent me on my way. Fast forward to last December, the pain returned. I took myself back to the ER, and once again everything came back clear but this time, this ER ordered a colonoscopy. While in there, they found a mass, which was removed by hemicolectomy. I spell that out so you can look up the procedure if you'd like.

Now for the scary part. After removal of the mass, I was told I'll be required to receive 6 months of chemo treatment. So that's why I'm here, I have no idea what this will cost even with insurance, so anything will help.
