I was my mother's full-time caregiver for the past two years. As she was completely bedridden, I could only work occasionally when someone could stay with her at home, and consequently, I have very limited assets.

My mother lost her battle with congestive heart failure on June 1 and her funeral was on June 7. Because it happened so recently, death certificates, etc, have not been issued yet, and all her funds are on hold.

I am now facing substantial financial challenges at this time. Most urgently, I need to pay Florida Power & Light a $909 deposit by the end of the month to avoid disconnection, as well as other bills. The FPLdeposit is that high because Mom was on oxygen 24/7, had an electric hospital bed, and had other medical needs that required much power.

I hate to ask for help, and am intensely reluctant to do so publicly, but I have no other choice and desperately need financial assistance to help me through this difficult period. Anything that you can donate will be welcome and greatly appreciated.
