Hello all, my name is Erik Kruckenberg, and I am asking for help due to a rough and devastating year regarding my health.

Dealing with hidradenitis suppurativa, as well as Cushing's Disease, has led to multiple hospital admissions, 5 in the last year. With this, also receiving outpatient care has required paying for expensive medication infusion therapy, including antibiotics, biologic therapies (Humira), and strong steroid therapy. My total out-of-pocket cost for 2024 alone has been over $22,000. With this, I have also applied for public assistance and have been either wait listed ( currently at 4-6 months wait time, or denied services.

I am asking for help because with all of this going on, I have run out of FMLA and have been released from my job since the start of October and have been couch surfing and living out of my truck. All of which has made managing my conditions even more difficult.

All proceeds will go to maintaining safe shelter, medication costs, infusion costs, and other costs associated with my current situation. Hopefully until new employment can be gained.
