Help Erik Knock out Cancer!

Hi, my name Is Evelyn.

I am creating a fundraiser for my husband Erik Lopez.

He is 26 years old now. We have been Strongly in love for about 10 years Now. ❤️

He has always been a healthy, athletic, very caring, loving, Full of laughter & with so much Energy! & also such a Great Dad to our “Irish Twins” that are the age of 6 & 7 now.

On January 10, 2023 our lives changed drastically! He got diagnosed with “Renal Cell Cancer”.

which is the worst thing to hear when you have always tried your best to maintain being healthy.

on Feb, 21, 2023 Erik, had A Laparoscopic Surgery Done. We Thank God that he was able to keep his Kidney and only get the cancer removed. With a 94-97% rate that it can ever return.

fast forward to April 6, 2023 the surgeon released him to be able to return back to work. With no restrictions.

Within that first week that he returned to work he gets sick & has a “Respiratory infection”. The infection caused him to return back to the ER on April 22.

Day of April 22, 2023. They did a cat scan and found out he had “Appendicitis”.

on April 23, 2023 (The Day of My Birthday )

he had surgery and had his appendix completely removed. 3 days later on April 26 he was discharged from the hospital.

On April 29, 2023 We are back at the hospital Due to him having severe pain under one of his incision’s. The cat scan results came back & Comes to find out he has “Hematoma”.

This has completely took a big Toll on him and all of us as a Family!! It is very hard when your so used to being Independent & Healthy. To being in & out of the hospital. Not being able to do your normal activities. And also feeling very vulnerable. As for me, as his partner… it is very hard for me to see him go through all of this. He is my lifelong best friend! ❤️ 

I ask if any of our friends or loved ones don’t mind keeping him in Prayer it is greatly appreciated! ✨
