In September of 2022 Erik was diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma. In November of 2022 He began 5 rounds of inpatient chemo but that unfortunately was not able to kill all of the cancer, we went to see a new doctor who recommended CAR-T treatment, Erik went through with it and finished it about 8 months ago. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough either and the cancer grew even more. That doctor then decided he doesn’t think there is much more that he could do to help Erik, So we went to a 3rd doctor who recommended a new treatment, Erik did the treatment for 3 months but we unfortunately just got news that the treatment did not work. He is now going to begin new clinical trials to see what is out there that can help him. This has been an ongoing journey for over a year now and the bills are stacking up more and more. We have had a tremendous amount of support throughout all this and we appreciate it so much. We are asking everyone that is able to help to please help whether that be donating, sharing the post, or praying for Erik.
