A disastrous windstorm recently tore through our neighborhood, uprooting massive trees and causing devastation to our home and vehicle. Several trees crashed down, smashing our trailer and pinning my truck, making it impossible for me to drive. Even more frightening, two trees are still threatening to crush my truck, and they loom over my bedroom. The danger is real and immediate. One tree has already destroyed my son's bedroom, shattering a window and crumpling the roof, leaving him without a safe place to sleep.

I've spoken with several arborists who have the equipment to help us, but the cost is overwhelming and could be even higher if we need to remove additional dangerous trees and thin others that could fall in the next storm. Without urgent help, we face the risk of further destruction, and even the threat of physical harm or worse if the trees fall while we sleep. I can't safely travel in the snow without my truck, and the trailer is at risk every day these trees remain.
