Help Ericka & Aubry Through Tough Health Situation
Donation protected
Ericka and her daughter Aubry have been through a series of unexpected health events that started in December. First, Aubrey tested positive for Covid19 on December 3, so Ericka took time off to care for her. Thankfully Aubrey has made a full recovery, and we are all grateful for that ! On December 7th Ericka's arm became swollen, painful, and had some discoloration, landing her in the ER. She was diagnosed with a blood clot in her left lung as well as in her subclavian vein. After being sent home with blood thinners for that , she followed up January 12, with the Vascular Team and Surgeon, Ericka had surgery on January 18th and had a large blood clot removed from her subclavian vein. All of this has required her to have to take a lot of unexpected time off.Ericka has been diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome , and will require another surgical procedure, for removal for the 1st Right Rib , on March 25th. This extended amount of time out of work, new diagnoses with which Ericka is currently unable to return to work, and multiple surgeries, has been emotionally , physically, and financially challenging for Ericka and Aubry. Please consider helping them out, anything is greatly appreciated !
