Help Erica have more function and lessen the neuropathy pain
Donation protected
After 6 weeks at Froedtert Hospital and 8 months at The Bay@Burlinton Health and Rehabilitation, Erica has returned home. She has come a log way in 9 1/2 months, but still relies on a walker to get around short distances and a wheelchair for long distances. She came from a point earlier in her condition of not knowing whether she would be able to walk again, to getting around in a walker (wheelchair). her medical team at Froedtert and The Bay were "superstars'.
For those who know Erica you know how determined and stubborn she can be. She has come a long way...but is still determined to be able to kick her walker to the curb and do things she has previously done, especially with her son Cayden.
We looked into chiropractic care and were told that they have a 90% success rate for people with "neuropathy", but it takes money that her insurance won't cover. We hope to raise enough for Erica to get the chiropractic care she deserves. She does not want to go through life depending on people to care for her. Her hope is to be able to be successful in finding a way to be independent and not cover up the pain of neuropathy with medication (like so many doctors do), but to thrive in her life.
I saw a spark in her eyes after the initial Chiropractic visit, when they did a nerve scan and the Dr. was hopeful that they could help her. Please help Erica with this process. Any donation will be a blessing! Thank you with all my heart ♥.
