Help Erica in her fight against breast cancer

Hi, my name is Nicole and I'm fundraising to help ease some of my friend, Erica Kynion's, stress during her fight with triple negative stage 2A breast cancer.

Erica was diagnosed with breast cancer May 10th of this year after noticing some pain in her right breast. The 2.8cm mass found will result in a double mastectomy after 2 rounds of chemo. Once the surgeries are complete, she will likely need radiation therapy.

In the shock of her diagnoses, at only 29 years old, she had a lot of important decisions to make on how to proceed but her treatment plan began rather quickly. She began her first round of chemo once a week in June for 12 weeks. Due to severe nerve pain caused by the chemo, she ended that round slightly early only to begin the second, more aggressive, round of chemo in which she still has a couple treatments left to complete before her first of multiple surgeries.

Erica has been working as much as she can but as we all know the chemo makes it very difficult to have the energy, strength, and overall health to be able to work her normal schedule. A majority of her time off is unpaid. In addition she tested positive for Covid following her 1st treatment in the second round of chemo. She missed basically a full week of work.

Erica has managed to maintain her smile and sense of humor throughout this difficult time in her life. She's a responsible home owner and takes care of her 2 cats.
