Help Erica Rebuild her Back! and Life!

Seven years ago, I moved back to Santa Fe, and things were looking up in my life and career. In a split second, things changed. I was trying out my bike, and at the intersection next to my apartment, two vehicles ran the stop sign, and I got hit by a car, then driven over by a truck. Before this, I was an athlete and exhibited around the world. This accident has been life-changing, and it has been a struggle to survive or thrive since.

I've broken two of my vertebrae, it's compressing my spinal cord, I have a broken foot, and several broken teeth. It began a cascade of health issues I've dealt with ever since. However, this year, I finally found the right neurosurgeon capable of repairing my broken back. July 11, at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, I am finally getting the surgery I've waited so long to get. It's a long recovery, but the first few months are going to be the toughest.

I am asking anyone that can afford to help out to donate to my fund in order to provide me and my family with funds to help me navigate this extremely difficult time. Donations will go to covering rent and bills (11K), medical/dental costs not covered by insurance (10K), home health care, and loss of work/wages (~4K+). Bills are adding up fast and are not something I want to worry about when recovering.
