My name is Erica, and for years I dedicated myself to teaching and was even preparing to start my second master's degree. Unfortunately, my health took a sudden turn in March 2025. Although I had been dealing with underlying issues for some time, it was then that I officially became disabled. This change has completely altered my daily life, making it impossible to do many of the things I once loved and took for granted.

Now, I am focused on getting better and managing my health as best as I can. The costs of medications, physical, vision, and speech/memory therapies, along with frequent specialist appointments, have become overwhelming. Without the ability to work, covering these essential expenses is a constant struggle.
