My name is Erica Gonzales, and I'm writing to you today with a heavy heart as I am currently battling a medical condition after I was diagnosed with esophageal and stomach cancer in 2019. Now, after my first surgery, I have ongoing pain, constant hospital trips to the ER, and medication changes to help ease the pain, but nothing is helping. On May 19th, I will face another major surgery and significant medical expenses, treatments including home health care.
