Help Erica Fight Stage 4 Cancer

As some of you know, 18 months ago Erica was diagnosed with stage 3c cervical cancer that she fought through extensive radiation and chemo and went into remission, however , it has returned with a vengeance and is stage 4. Her treatment options are…. Not having chemo… this would have give her 6-9 months to live…. Chemotherapy … which would buy her about a year that she would spend mostly bedridden and sick from the treatment…. Or option 3, to have surgery to remove some of her major organs, giving her the better odds of survival past the one year mark. She is choosing surgery and to fight for her boys!

Her surgery is scheduled for the end of this month and if successful she will spend approximately 6 weeks after surgery in the hospital and will miss Christmas with her family. The recovery process for this surgery is a year long, very painful and she will still need to have chemotherapy following the surgery. It’s going to be a tough road but if anyone can beat this, she can!! Erica is a warrior and fighting like she has never fought before to ensure she is around for her boys.

Immunotherapy is also something her doctors would like her to try but is not covered by insurance.

Any donation, regardless of how big or small, is greatly appreciated. Funds will ensure Erica is able to pay rent, bills while she is unable to work. She will also require home healthcare and other therapies during the next year. She has applied for disability however, it’s not enough to keep her household afloat once she receives it.
