For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Tracy Robson, and I am one of Erica’s best friends. With her permission, I have started this GoFundMe to help assist her financially during this difficult time.

Last week Erica went to her annual physical as she does every year. In the blink of an eye, one phone call turned her entire world upside down. It was her doctor alerting her she needed to go to the nearest emergency room due to her extremely low hemoglobin and hematocrit counts. Worried and confused, Erica followed instructions, not realizing that night she would not be going home for quite some time. She was transferred from Winchester Hospital to Brigham and Women’s for further evaluation. On Friday, September 15, 2023, Erica learned that she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia and she would need to start an aggressive treatment regimen. Given the nature of her approaching treatment, she will remain as an inpatient during her induction therapy for 4-6 weeks.

Erica has served as a devoted 911 dispatcher for over 18 years. Due to the nature of her work and being union, she has very limited options to help aid her financially as she will not be able to work. For those of you who know Erica, you know she is not one to ask for help. This fundraiser is to raise money to help offset the financial hardship she will face in order to focus on completing treatment and eventually entering remission.

Any donations that you can contribute will help put her that much more at ease. The last thing she needs to think about is how she will pay her bills. It takes a village to conquer this, so let's all rally and help her kick cancer's butt!
