Anyone who has had the honor of knowing Eric Renteria, a graduate student from Metro Tech HS, a Paradise Valley Community College soccer player and a player from FCDA Club, knows that he is a big-hearted person who is always willing to help others.

Last October, the Renteria family received the shocking and unexpected news that Eric was facing a long battle against Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma, Stage 3.

Since his diagnosis, Eric has spent days in the hospital and has undergone several chemotherapy treatments. He will have at least 6 more months of treatments and hospital stays ahead of him.

Cancer is a brutal and unforgiving disease, and Eric's diagnosis has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for the Renteria family.
