Hello Everyone!

As many of you know my father Eric Short had a life saving procedure of an aorta replacement and a double bypass heart surgery.  Although his surgery was very succesful , he experienced major complications resulting in his right hand being amputated, all of his toes on his right and left feet and some partial fingers on his left hand.

You may not know my dad personally but if you did you would say that he's funny, caring, inspirational, loving, long winded ...just an overall great person.
My dad and family's lives have changed forever.

We could not have guessed in a million years that this would of happened but we are absolutley blessed to have had a wonderful team of heart surgeons and nursing staff. It has been a bit rough but we continue to pray and continue to uplift, taking it one day at a time.

My dad was an amazing basketball player  back in the day and played up to the semi-professional level which led him to spending his free time coaching, training and spreading his love and knowledge of basketball to others. As you can imagine this has been extremely hard on him mentally, physically and financially.

 Today I ask that you give a gift from your heart to show support to a man during his time in need. It would help so much not only with everyday costs but with any other medical expenses he my have.  It would mean the world us and especially him to see love and support from you all.  We understand that some may not be able to give and we completely understand. We just ask that you continue to keep us in your thoughts ad prayers.
