I am an independent singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in middle Tennessee near Cookeville, and I am a proud native of Celina, TN. I have a passion for classic, alternative, and grunge acoustic rock, as well as alt-folk and indie rock music. At 51 years old, I have written a collection of songs that I believe resonate not only with my own generation (Gen X) but also with younger listeners who are discovering the power and emotion of this music. Recently, I’ve seen a surge in support and engagement across the major social media platforms, (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube) which tells me that there’s a real hunger for the sounds and stories of 90s grunge and alternative rock. This has inspired me to take the next step and record an EP featuring both my original songs and some covers of the music that shaped me.

To bring this project to life, I need help covering the costs of studio time, mixing, and mastering, as well as the licensing and distribution fees required for releasing cover songs. Unfortunately, I’ve also faced some setbacks, including the theft of crucial equipment and the need for amp repairs—both essential for my recording and live performances. In addition, my current financial situation has resulted in my car payments getting behind, (along with other bills) which has placed the car in danger of repossession. I have staved this off so far by giving up 3 solid body electric guitars to the pawnshops, leaving me with the Teton acoustic/ electric guitar i usually play in my videos as my sole instrument. This worked for awhile, but i have no more assets to do this with or to sell. Outright. Essentially, I am at the end of my rope. Your support will help me overcome these challenges and share my music with a wider audience, keeping the spirit of this genre alive for new generations.

To this end, I have decided to create a 7 song EP. This EP will consist of four (4) original songs and three (3) 90's grunge cover songs, (track list TBD)

Taking this all into account, I have set the ultimate goal of this GoFundMe at $10,000 with the visible goal adjusting upward as donations come in. This is allows for a more accessible initial goal as well as showing progress and support for this GoFundMe.

The following list details how the funds will be used.

1. $7000 for seven (7) fully produced, mixed and mastered tracks.

2. $600 to replace an SM58 Shure vocal microphone, an Ibanez TS9DX Tube Screamer and a set of Seymour Duncan Alinco 2 Slash humbucker pickups. These are the stolen Items I mentioned.

3. $800 to get a new Epiphone Les Paul Standard. This will at least replace 1 of 3 guitars lost to the pawnshop. I hated to have to pawn those instruments but, my situation is such that i had no alternative in order to pay my bills, which, unfortunately are still.in the red.

4. $1600 to prevent the loss of my car, cell phone service and internet service so I can continue making and spreading my music.

As you can see, production costs are significant and, at $1,000/song, this is cheap compared to professional recording and mastering in Nashville.

With all this in mind, I want to extend a heartfelt and grateful thank you to everyone who donates to this cause. Asking for help like this goes against my nature, but I am in a pretty bad situation currently and i see few options. From the bottom of my heart, I truly appreciate every ounce of support and the love and enthusiasm that the public has shown me for not only the cover songs i perform, . But my original material.as well.
