Help Eric who lost everything in Eaton Fire

Hi, this is Alex and Eric's my best friend.

In February 2022, Eric achieved a monumental milestone: bought a first home. The house was 98 years old, and needed a lot of work to return to it's former glory - He poured 22 months into remodeling and making it his own, from the cute bathroom floor tile, to the wolf range stove top to cook and host dinner at home with friends.

And then, overnight, he lost it all. EVERYTHING.

The house, along with the ADU, the garage, and everything he held dear, was completely destroyed in the Eaton, California fire. The fire took more than just bricks and mortar—it took a lifetime of memories. Eric lost treasured possessions he had accumulated over 31 years: his spearguns, Japanese knives, tools, surfboards and art—pieces that were irreplaceable and filled with meaning.

This house was more than a structure. It was the culmination of years of savings, two years of physical work and lots of dreams for the future, and honestly blood, sweat and tears too.

So grateful to know him safe - but now he has no home, no clothes, no paperwork, everything needs to be rebuild from the ground up, and the road ahead is uncertain.

Anything would be appreciated, so very much.

This was written by Alex, I currently live in Florida, and Eric is in LA. I met him during the first months of the pandemic, and he is the most amazing soul, we are so lucky that he is safe.
