My friend and fellow softball family, Eric Moore and Family, just lost their beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, coach, friend. Chelsea Gugliotta-Moore. I realized as I’m watching the outflow of support with supportive words and visits, I too wanted to do something meaningful for his family.

There’s always so much support when someone loses a child, and that is so amazing. However, from a man’s perspective, I could see how losing a wife could/would be even harder. Kids grow up and leave and become a part of someone else’s family. Your spouse joined you and became a part of you, your better half. A joint provider, caretaker, lover, and friend, till death do us part. The work, emotional support, and the financial strain just doubled for this husband/father and probably feels like way more than doubled as he’s raising their beautiful family as well. He’s got to find the strength to pull through and continue to provide even more for his family and their future.

Although nothing will replace her memory and her legacy for this family, we could help lighten the load for them.
