Sergeant Eric Kocheran, who is a seasoned law enforcement officer and firefighter, was shot in an ambush style attack on 11-17-2022. Sergeant Kocheran was typing reports when he attempted to assist an individual outside of the sheriff’s office. After a brief exchange of words the male fired his weapon striking Sergeant Kocheran.

Eric is a kind soul who has always been energetic, loving, humorous, kind, and a heavily involved member of his community. All money raised will benefit Eric and his children/family with unexpected medical/unplanned financial hardships surely to be faced in the near future.
