Please support April and her 4 little children after the sudden and unexpected death of Eric. He was a loving, kind and wonderful man that cared for his family in every way he could. His presence as husband and father will be missed, but the expenses of his death and loss of income will be hard on the whole family.

Words from April about Eric Johnson, "the love of my life and the father of my children passed away very unexpectedly last night. He was feeling a little sick last Thursday but it seemed just like a cold. We were scheduled to go to St George on Friday for some martial arts training. I told home maybe we should cancel the trip but Friday morning when he work up, he was feeling much better so we went and had a wonderful time. Monday morning, he woke up very sick again and said he was getting winded and was having a hard time breathing so I took him to urgent care around 10am. His oxygen levels were low (90). Doctor said he had walking pneumonia and gave him some meds and said to come back tomorrow and if his oxygen didn’t go back up he would have to go to the hospital. He spent the day resting and seemed to be doing some better by the afternoon and was resting on the couch. Paityn and Hannah has high fevers and Paityn was complaining of ear pain so I took them both to the Dr at 6pm and left Eric here with the boys. Amanda and another au pair that I am housing stayed with him. As I was leaving the Dr around 645 the au pair called me said Eric wasn’t doing good and fell on the floor. I told her to call 911. I also called them as I drove home. When the paramedics arrived, Eric was breathing and laying on the floor. He was sick and needed help but otherwise ok. They loaded him into the ambulance and just as I pulled up to the house, he went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance. They worked on him for 40 minutes but could not get his heart working again. I don’t understand how this happened or why and it’s very unreal. Please say a prayer for our kids."
While prayers are welcome, please donate what you can to help the family. April will receive all funds directly from GoFundMe to help pay medical/funeral expenses and support her family while working out all the many details and changes in their family situation.
I set this up to help a colleague and friend, but I will not be taking or using any of the money. All Messages/comments and donations will be seen by April along with myself as organizer.
