My 20-year-old grandson, pictured here with his mom, Erika, and below with his daughter, Ivy, and with Heather & Chris Heimburg, was injured in a serious motorcycle accident 5 weeks ago. In addition to a concussion, collapsed lung, and fractured hip, he suffered a shattered T-7 vertebra, spinal damage, and has lost the use of his legs. Eric had recently joined the US Air Force and had a promising future. We are all praying for his complete recovery. His dad and stepmom, Chris and Heather Heimburg, will be receiving him back home as early as Aug. 18. Needless to say, there are many costs incurred both currently and in the future for his care.
