Help Eric Get His Leg Chopped Off!

I apologize for the title - the internet says that we should use one that will catch people's attention, and that's exactly what we need. My name is Dejah, and I am starting this fundraiser for my brother, Eric. Some of you know him as the "class clown," constantly injecting humor into life and making those around him laugh. Unfortunately, the situation he is currently in is no laughing matter.

On October 25, 2022, while on vacation in the Philippines, he was admitted to St. Luke's Hospital in Global City. He had a fever, excruciating pain in a recently fractured foot, very high sugars due to uncontrolled diabetes that he did not know about about at the time, and a severe bone infection. He is still experiencing fevers, an elevated heart rate, low hemoglobin levels, and periodically receiving blood transfusions, as the infection is wreaking havoc on his system. The doctors have determined that the only way to save his life is to do a below-the-knee amputation to get rid of the infection. As he is on the other side of the world, funds are necessary to help pay for his medical costs of surgery and the hospital stay. My family is doing the best they can to foot the bill, but we are asking for some help from anyone willing to offer assistance. Whether it's a dollar or more, every little bit will help.
