Hi! My name is Kailey, and my father is Eric Harned. Eric had a double lung transplant back in December of 2014. He had a rare lung disease that was only discovered when he fell off a roof putting up Christmas lights several years prior. Ever since his miraculous transplant, he has put a lot of effort into advocating for organ donation. He speaks at schools and events and tries in every way to be a good steward of the gift at life he has been given. My father and I both believe that God had a hand in this story. My father participates in the transplant Olympics whenever it is held. This year, is will be in Colorado in June. He works a full time job and also referees basketball and umpires baseball, so he stays quite busy throughout the year but the transplant Olympics is the one time he gets to do something that gives him a chance to decompress and network with other transplant recipients. This year, traveling to Colorado will result in some travel and transportation costs for him, so as a way to give back to him for all he has done for me and others I wanted to organize this fundraiser. My father is such a selfless man and I would really appreciate any donations that are possible! Thank you.
