Hi, my name is Emilio Reyes.

My daughters and I have been blessed to have their grandparents on their mom's side as a big part of our village. Eric and Keda have always been a huge part of helping us maintain the girls' schedules and provide for them when needed, even with me no longer being married to their daughter. That hasn't mattered to them. They have continuously welcomed me with open arms and helped me with whatever I need for the girls.

Recently, my father-in-law, Eric, has faced some health complications that have left him unable to work for the time being. Eric has had heart issues in the past and within the last few months, he could not work due to having to prepare for open-heart surgery. As nervous as we all were, his surgery went seamlessly, and now he is working on getting back to 100% through physical therapy and whatever means are necessary to get him to that point. If you know anything about Eric, the man loves to work and provide for his family. On top of that, he always finds a way to help any of his friends and family in need. Even when it seems like there is no way to make it happen, he will make it happen.

I'm starting a collection to surprise Eric and Keda with a little extra money to soften the financial burden of him being unable to work and covering the costs of his medical bills. Whether you give $1 or more, their hearts will be full no matter what they receive. They are definitely the type that are too proud to ask anyone for help, so I'd like to keep this a secret from them the best I can.
