My name is Eric. I'm a single father of two amazing boys. On September 2nd, I ruptured my right Achilles tendon while at a pool with them. I had surgery on September 4th and had to have a second surgery yesterday because I fell while trying to get the boys lunch. I will be out of work for a while and have been having a hard time getting my temporary disability from the state. I have been without pay since the beginning of September, and according to the state disability office, it could be another 4 to 6 weeks for them to review my case. I applied back on September 3rd right after the accident.

This morning 12/4 I received a phone call from my VP of sales and HR that company is going through a consolidation and effective 12/31 myself and many others in the company no longer have jobs. Can't seem to catch a break. Again really hate asking for help, but we are going to need it. Thank you to those who have donated thus far and please keep our family in your prayers
