Hi everyone. My name is Andrea, and I am organizing this emergency fundraiser to help save my brother from deportation. I am currently an active-duty soldier in the U.S. Army. I put on my uniform every day and dedicate my life to serving and protecting this country. But right now, while I am doing my duty, my family is living a nightmare.

Recently, my brother was detained by ICE and is currently being held at the T. Don Hutto Detention Center. It is incredibly difficult for me to focus on my mission and military duties knowing that my brother is locked up, and my family is absolutely terrified of losing him.

My brother Eri as everyone knows him as the most joyful and friendliest guy ever no matter the day or the issue he'll always be there to help he's my 911, ever since I left home he took charge of the house and took care of everyone.. the cars the pets the carpentry business, my brother the person who motivated me inspired me to overcome everything and help me make it through basic training the person who made sure I had a hygiene kit and letters to stay motivated throughout the worst 2 months of my life. My brother is being treated and seen like an illegal alien for committing the crime of being the best brother, son, friend a person could have, my brother who's hobbies are to be a cyclist and go for rides down the highway and work in the workshop with my family, work in his truck and play Minecraft at night with me. My brother is the most amazing person to exist his friends know him by the most genuine person and realeast guy he didn't deserve to get taken this way he's left a hole in my family, now its 2 empty rooms my parents have to go through, I myself feel like my world has crumbled.

The immigration system moves terrifying fast, and the odds are heavily stacked against anyone who doesn't have a private attorney. My family is pooling every single dollar we have, but the legal fees and potential bond costs are completely overwhelming for us to handle alone. I am trying to raise $10,000 to give my brother a fighting chance. The funds will be used strictly for immigration attorney fees, to retain a lawyer who can file the necessary paperwork and represent him in court. Immigration bond, to secure his release so be can fight his case at home with our family, rather than behind bars. Commissary and communication, so he can afford the high cost of phone calls to stay in touch with me and our parents, and buy basic necessities while detained.
