Jeff “Scooby” Geffner

On January 5 we lost our dear beloved friend, Jeff “Scooby” Geffner. His death has left an irreplaceable void in our lives. We lost too soon a selfless and generous individual, a true mensch and a lifelong brother.

All of us have a story about the time Scooby dropped everything to take us to the airport, deliver groceries, or call us when we needed it most. Carly and Ross have lost their father, his guidance, and his unwavering love. Their memories, and your memories are what they will carry forward. Unfortunately they will also carry forward the burden of debt.

We, his AEPI Brothers of Syracuse University, would love nothing more than to lessen the dark cloud that sits above them. Consider contributing to a GoFund me account for Jeff’s children, to help in removing their enormous debt. Scooby never asked for anything. This is our collective opportunity to honor his legacy and help his children.

As parents, we would all take comfort knowing that our friends looked after our own.
