Help ER nurse, Manny, beat COVID-19

Hello Friends and Family,

The coronavirus has impacted every one of us, worldwide. This is the first GoFundMe page I have ever started, but I feel like we need to do our part to help our friend/ coworker who was infected with COVID-19 while working to help others as an emergency room nurse. 

Manny grew up as an identical triplet. He and his brothers all selflessly went into different branches of the Armed Forces. Manny was in the United States Navy. Afterwards, Manuel followed his passion of helping others by becoming a registered nurse. 

As I said, Manny was exposed to Covid-19 while working in the emergency department as a registered nurse. Within days of falling ill, he was on a ventilator in the ICU fighting for his life.  He was intubated for over a week and was just transferred to the step-down ICU to continue his recovery. 

Manny just hit a big milestone in his life prior to this illness. He purchased his first home in February 2020.  Because he recently switched to a full-time position, he doesn’t have much sick or vacation time to pay his expenses while he’s recovering during this difficult time. 

Manny is a superhero to his patients, coworkers and friends! I just know he will make it through this terrible illness with his trusty sidekick,  Chompers,  and some help from all of us!
