This spring, I have the opportunity to train, equip, and strengthen leaders and youth to bring up a new generation of Christians in Egypt.

Why Egypt?

Egypt has been home to Christians since the first century, when St. Mark brought the Gospel to Alexandria. Though centuries of persecution reduced Christians to a small minority, the church endured. Today, for the first time in centuries, new religious freedoms are creating a historic moment for the church to grow again. Thousands of churches are being rebuilt or newly licensed. Seminaries are expanding. Young believers are hungry to learn and serve.

What I’ll Be Doing

Last spring, our team began the work of training and equipping the next generation in deliverance and healing. Hundreds of people were healed of various illnesses and delivered of evil spirits, along with much inner healing. The people loved the conference so much they asked us to return and do a follow up conference for more training in Kingdom ministry.

During this trip, our team will host a 3-day training conference in northern Egypt, equipping pastors and young leaders.

My Goal: $5,600

Here’s how the funds will be used:

• $1,200 – Roundtrip flight

• $850 – Loss of wages while serving

• $3,550 – On-the-ground expenses (materials, accommodations, food, transportation, etc.)
