The EPSC 09 Girls Team has been asked to represent our club in Norway Cup 2024!! We are raising money to fund our trip travel expenses as a team. The Norway Cup is the largest soccer youth tournament in the world and we are honored to attend. Here's a little more about us...
The 2009 Girls team recent top achievements include runners-up at the 2023 MN Cup, and winning the 2024 MN Cup!! As a bonus to their USA Cup Runner-Up success in Blaine this past season. The Norway Cup is an annual, international youth soccer tournament, with the first edition being held in 1972. It is the world's largest football tournament and sees ~1,700 teams each year, hitting a record 2,199 teams in 2016. The participants in the tournament typically come from around 50-60 different nations.
The team is made up of high school freshmen and sophomores from the Southwest Metro areas of Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Chaska and Carver. The core group of players have been together for over 6 years, continuously developing their skills and love of the game while competing with the top teams in the state.
