update 9/2/25
Hello from the Brower family!
We have temporarily moved to Philadelphia! Enzo was transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in late July and, after a month of living with Mimi and Pop, Otto moved to Philly when a room opened up for our family at Ronald McDonald House. The house is such a blessing and we are so thankful to have our family together again.
Enzo is currently in inpatient rehab at CHOP working hard in occupational, speech, and physical therapy every day. His doctors, therapists, and parents are blown away by his drive and positive attitude. Therapy is hard and he is tired but it never stops him from giving it his all and finding the humor in the little things. Enzo also receives radiation treatments every morning Monday through Friday, he will have 30 treatments in total and we are just over halfway finished! Once he is discharged from rehab and his radiation treatments are complete we will return to Nemours to begin his chemotherapy treatments.
Enzo has always been very into army men and the military and we have explained to him that he is just like an army man. His therapies are training to get stronger and his radiation and chemotherapy treatments are like army rangers sent into battle for him. And, since no army man goes into battle alone, we are his combat support. We want to thank everyone who has prayed, encouraged, and donated again for being Enzo’s combat support. Our whole family is incredibly grateful to the army of people who have shown up for us, we will never forget it.
Update: July 12th
From Brandi Brower:
Avery and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the immense support we have received after learning of Enzo’s diagnosis. The way we have felt the community rally around our family is nothing shy of amazing and we wish there was a way to thank each and every person for their support. Please know that every prayer, kind word, offer of support, and dollar donated has made a profound impact on our family and our ability to face this diagnosis.
Enzo is in the process of recovering from what his doctors are calling a successful surgery. His tumor has been removed. We thank God for this win but know that it is only the first battle in the war against this horrible disease. Enzo has been so strong, stronger than an 8 year old boy should ever have to be, and we ask for your continued prayers for him. We have nothing but faith that God will carry us through.

Help Enzo Fight Brain Cancer: Support Avery and His Family
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
It’s with a heavy heart that I share this urgent need for support. Enzo Brower, a bright and loving 9-year-old boy, has been diagnosed with brain cancer, specifically Medulloblastoma. This devastating news has turned the world upside down for Enzo and his family, including his father, Avery Brower.
Avery, a dedicated paramedic who has spent his life helping others, now finds himself in the most challenging situation of all: fighting to save his son’s life. As a coworker and friend to Avery, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible amount of heart and dedication he brings to his job, always putting others first. Now, it’s our turn to support Avery and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
How You Can Help
The funds raised will go directly to helping cover the expenses associated with Enzo’s ongoing medical treatments, including travel and extended stays for treatments. With hospital visits and specialists located far from home, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Avery’s focus must be on his son’s recovery, not on the stress of mounting bills. This is where we can make a difference.
What Your Donations Will Do:
Support Enzo's medical treatments and therapies.
Cover travel costs for treatments and hospital stays.
Help with daily living expenses while Avery is unable to work full-time, caring for his son.
Avery has always been there for others, showing up for every emergency and giving his all to help anyone in need. Now, we have the opportunity to show up for him and his family when they need it the most.
Let’s come together and make sure Avery can focus on what matters most: his son’s recovery. No donation is too small, and every bit helps to ease the burden on this incredible family. Please consider donating, sharing this page, or offering words of encouragement.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity.
With gratitude,
Thomas Jefferson
