They robbed me of $8,000, and I'm trying really hard to stop beating myself up over this, but it's still a work in progress. I am 74 years old, retired, with health issues (arthritis, COPD, enlarged prostate, back pain and depression) that acutely impair my ability to work. I am living on Social Security and a small pension. I now have less than $2,000 to my name. I do not know how I am going to continue to pay my rent and other necessary expenses.
