Back Enzo’s Dream: AZ BJJ Championship!

Hi! We’re Jiu-Jitsu Tribe, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has spent over a decade inspiring, impacting, and improving lives in underserved communities through the power of Jiu-Jitsu.

This year, we have a life-changing opportunity for this amazing young athlete, Enzo (12), from our social project Instituto Jiu-Jitsu Tribe in Araricá, Brazil. This dedicated student, along with his coach Leandro Gonzaga, have been invited to compete at the AZBJJL Arizona State Championship on June 21st, 2025. With the support of AZBJJL, their U.S. visas were approved on February 21st!

Now, we need YOUR HELP to make this dream a reality.

Our Goal: $3000

This will cover:

• ✈️ Airfare for Enzo and Coach Leandro

• Lodging and meals during their stay

• Travel essentials and Recreational

• Any extra funds will go toward creating a Jiu-Jitsu Tribe Competition Fund to support more athletes from underserved areas to compete in the future, including students from social projects in the United States!

Why It Matters:

Enzo is not just a talented athlete—he is a shining example of the transformative power of Jiu-Jitsu. Through consistent training, school commitment, and character development, he has become a leader in his community. Competing internationally is a dream he has worked so hard for—a dream that can change his life forever.

Coach Leandro, a passionate leader and mentor, has dedicated years to using Jiu-Jitsu as a tool to empower youth, keeping them away from drugs and violence while instilling discipline, hope, and purpose.
