Help Enzo Beat Leukemia – Sandra & Andres Villalpando's Son
Donation protected
Our sweet 6-year-old Enzo Villalpando was diagnosed on February 3 with leukemia. The journey ahead will be long, filled with intensive treatments out of town, hospital stays, and ongoing care. Mom and Dad, Sandra and Andres, are beloved community members in Mammoth Lakes. Enzo is a kindergarten student at Mammoth Elementary School. He is a bright, loving, and joyful boy who always lights up the room with his smile. Right now, he is facing the fight of his life against a disease that no child should have to face.
Last Tuesday, Enzo started feeling ill and was treated at Mammoth Hospital. The Villalpando family is grateful for Dr. Mary Bissell’s excellent care and quick recognition of the severity of the situation at Mammoth Hospital. The family immediately drove to Orange County for further treatment at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Our focus is on helping Enzo heal and fight this battle, but as we do, we want to support his family as they face mounting financial burdens associated with his care and treatment.
Currently, the family is in Orange County awaiting answers. We will update this page regularly to keep everyone informed of Enzo’s progress. Though he’s surrounded by the love of his parents, his twin brother Otis misses him dearly, and his twin baby siblings are confused by his absence and trying to adjust to this new reality. They are all trying to stay strong, and your support means everything to them.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a huge impact on Enzo’s journey. With his parents' permission, we are starting this GoFundMe to help them with the unbelievable costs that will arise from this diagnosis. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this page with your friends and family would mean the world to us.
We are beyond grateful for your kindness, love, and support during this difficult time. Thank you for being part of Enzo’s fight.
