Help ensure Roxy's peace & comfort in her final moments

My baby Roxy is almost 16 years old and she's had me for her entire life. I've had her for almost half of mine. She's been my shadow for 16 years. I love her with my entire heart. Unfortunately, in her old age, her quality of life has began to decline, she has very little control over her bladder and this evening she had a seizure and it was awful. We've been talking about this for a while already, just trying to prepare but after today it's become very apparent that it's time to let her go. Her quality of life is declining rapidly and we just don't want her to get to a point where she is completely miserable. It feels selfish to keep putting it off just because we don't want to let her go. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I'm asking for help to raise the money to be able to have her euthanized at home where she is most comfortable. Unfortunately that is not cheap. We're looking at at least $550 for the in home euthanasia plus $50-75 for travel time and fees. It would be another $250+ for cremation so we are going to try to just bury her. I just don't want her last moments to be stressful and scary. I don't want her to take her last breath laying on a cold table in a room with florescent lights, in a place she's never been, that's full of strangers. I don't want that for me either. If anyone can help in any way it would be so incredibly appreciated. This is one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with and it hasn't even happened yet. Please help us help our baby pass over in her home with her family by her side.
