Hello everyone, I'm Elaine's Daughter Shennika as most of you already know who I am. She also has one Son Name Jaquez, 7 grandchildren, a living Father, Sister and two brothers. To know her is to love her, the sweetest person you could ever meet!!
Our Bullock Family has always been close and always together. We really never had anyone else to depend on, but us. After my Grandma passed in 2003, my Mom was basically the glue that held us together.
My Mother Elaine was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, Dec 2022 which was devastating to us all cause we have been through this all before. She was diagnosed with the same Cancer as her Mom. My Mom is still here and fighting but she has fought this battle for so long and we can tell she's getting tired. She has went through multiple chemo treatments, radiation treatments and multiple trips to the ER until recently they found it best that she get taken care of through hospice for comfort measures only.
Fast forward to today, on October 2nd I was told from her hospice nurse that they only felt like she had days left with us...maybe weeks.. She has an infection around her heart..a mass pressing on her pulmonary arterie because Cancer has spreaded to her lungs. She's in stage 3 Kidney failure, the tumors on her brain is causing so much swelling that it has shifted her midline. All of this is causing her to forget things and unable to hold a long conversation with us. She mostly sleep alot.
God has the last say so in any situation and my Momma always taught us to have faith. We honestly don't know when her time will come to leave us, but when that time do come I don't want my Brother and I to be stressed out trying to make sure our Mom has her final arrangements completed.
She had life insurance in the past, but not sure what all happened with the policy canceling. My Brother and I have money put away but not enough. This is our goal amount at the top.
