Please Help Ensa Support His Family & Build a Better Future
We met Ensa online through a Christian group on Facebook and quickly became good friends. Because Ensa lives in Gambia, Africa, where he doesn't have access to make a GoFundMe for himself, he asked us to make one for him. Ensa is a really sweet, honest guy who wants to live better and provide better for his family. He's shown us videos of himself, his family, where he lives, etc. We try to help him when we can. Rice for his family costs $70 - $80 US dollars. However, because he also has to think about rent and taking care of his family, he left school and is pursuing purchasing a donkey with a cart to make deliveries which will bring him more income overall.
He's not just asking for money. He's asking for help so he can work for it, which is Biblical. <3
Proverbs 10:4: Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.
2 Corinthians 9:6: ...Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
From Ensa himself:
Hello everyone, my brothers and sisters
My name is Ensa Bojang, and I am from The Gambia in West Africa.
I am reaching out to you with a humble and heavy heart to ask for help for myself and my family. Life has been extremely difficult for us, especially since we lost our father. His passing changed our lives completely, and I have had to take on responsibilities that I never expected to carry at such a young age.
After losing my father, I had to leave school and focus manpower working I take whatever manual jobs I Can find With less paid to be able to support my family. I work so hard but can't even maintain health and hygiene, I find it hard to get enough food for my family. It's very hard for me to pay house rent some times which gives stress and worries
My mother is not in the best of health, and I also have siblings who depend on me. Sometimes we struggle to have enough food to eat. Paying our house rent can also become very difficult, leaving me with constant stress and worry about what will happen next.
It is painful to work so hard and still feel like you are falling behind. There are days when I become exhausted, but I remind myself that I have a family depending on me. I cannot simply give up.
Here in The Gambia, opportunities can be very limited, especially for someone who was unable to finish school. Without an education, finding a stable job with a decent income can be extremely difficult.
That is why I am asking for help to start a small business that can give me a more reliable way to support my family.
My goal is to purchase a donkey cart and use it for local transportation. Donkey carts are commonly used in our communities, and starting this small business could give me an opportunity to earn a steady income. My hope is that, through this business, I can provide food for my family, help pay our rent and other necessities, and slowly build a more secure future.
I am not asking for someone to simply give me a better life. I am asking for an opportunity to work for a better life for my family.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, please know that it would mean more to us than I can express. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would also be a tremendous help.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hear what my family is going through. I pray that God blesses everyone who supports us, whether through a donation, a share, or simply a prayer.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving my family hope and giving me a chance to build a better future. ❤️
From all of us,
Thank you for reading and helping! <3
