My mother Enriqueta
is the most hardworking, honest, kind, and humble person I know. She’s been my guiding waypoint and moral compass, my reason to live and continue on. She’s always been good to me and to every person we’ve known, loved by all family and recognized by her cunning and intelligence. She’s given me her all, as all mothers do for their children, and it’s time I give back to her to the fullest extent of the word and meaning. I’ve recently fallen into financial trouble. I work as any hardworking American person and pull into a full 40-hour work week and even do overtime whenever possible, but since desperate times have shown and reflected in our country, I’m barely making ends meet. Thank God we have food and a full pantry; that’s all that matters most of the time. But, as life has shown us all, there’s always a rock in our way that trips us in our journey. I’ve confronted that rock more times than I can remember, as we all do at some point. Only this time, this rock feels like a boulder.

My mother suffered a terrible fall this past 2023. She was shaken a bit, of course, bedridden for a little while. I took care of her, of course, and provided amenities and care as a son does, but her injuries proved for a longer recovery, and ultimately, surgery is in the way. Her fall triggered hernias in her C5, C6, and C7 vertebrae, along with a calcification that was also found between C5 and C6. The only corrective procedure for her complete recovery is surgery, along with months of therapy to withstand and have a more normal life to carry on. She is currently taking therapy sessions at my expense, which are not cheap, but targeted at improving her mobility and preventing lethargy and having a much better quality of life to ease the recuperation after surgery.

I don’t like asking for things or money, but I need the help of kind-hearted people to aid me in these difficult times for my mother. I will have the most mountainous gratitude for anyone who decides to give a little for my cause. May God bless you and have you always in His heart. Thank you for your time in reading this and checking out the GoFundMe page.
Sincerely, Julian & Enriqueta.
