Help Enrique Gonzalez Jimenez Overcome Cancer & Hardship

Dear Friends and Community,

My father asked me to help his elderly friend with this GoFundMe. His name is Enrique Gonzalez Jimenez, a 63-year-old man who has been diagnosed with a form of cancer. For the last ten years, he has been struggling with leg ulcers, and they have become cancerous. This is a person who has worked all his life since arriving in the US. He worked at the Tulsa Rib Company for about 10 years before he left due to his symptoms and feeling unwanted. Enrique had very little insurance coverage, and therefore, he needed to use his own savings to cover the expensive treatments that were supposed to help. Upon feeling slightly better and the mounting bills, he went back to work although he was not at 100%. He worked on and off for about 5 years at the Desert Inn in Anaheim as a Houseman, where he did the cleaning and housekeeping. However, the ulcers came back, and he was unable to continue working. Currently, he rents a room, which he hasn't paid for the last 3 months, and the owner has asked him to vacate the room. He has nowhere to go, and he is currently using a walker to get around while he is still dealing with his medical condition. He has no family in the US, so he is alone.
