Enrique and Beatrice, my parents, have just experienced a devastating loss. While they were out of town in Mexico for about a month, a fire broke out at the back of their house. We still don’t know exactly how it started, but the fire completely destroyed one room and caused smoke damage throughout the rest of the house. On top of that, there’s water damage almost everywhere inside, making the house a total loss. It’s been overwhelming to process, especially with my parents so far from home and unable to see the damage firsthand.

Enrique and Beatrice are both retired and living on a fixed income, which makes this sudden tragedy even harder. They also care for their disabled daughter, so losing their home has made things even more urgent and challenging for our family. The funds raised here will help them secure temporary housing, replace basic necessities, and start to rebuild their lives after losing so much. Every little bit will help them get back on their feet and bring some hope during this difficult time.

Ellos se habían retirado recientemente con la ilusión de disfrutar una vida tranquila, viajar y pasar tiempo con su familia. Mientras estaban fuera del país visitando a sus seres queridos, ocurrió una tragedia: su casa se incendió por completo.
