My name is Carlo, and I’m raising funds for Tumusiime Enock who is a 17-year-old boy from Mityana, Uganda, who lost both of his parents at the age of 14. Because of country restrictions, he can’t create a GoFundMe himself—so I’m doing this on his behalf, with his permission and full blessing. This is my first time creating a GoFundMe, but I felt compelled to offer Enock my help, all funds raised are being sent directly to him. We previously used PayPal, but we are now sending the support via Western Union. I've attempted to add him as a direct beneficiary, but unfortunately, GoFundMe has restrictions in place that make that difficult in his situation so I have to receive the donations and forward them to Enock. His Story:

My name is Tumusiime Enock. I am 17 years old and from Uganda. I lost both of my parents when I was just 14. Since then, I have been completely on my own, with no family, no home, and no one to turn to. I live on the streets, sometimes in Kampala, other times in different villages, just trying to survive.

I’ve been in this situation for over three years now. When my parents died, everything in my life changed. I was left with nothing—no shelter, no food, no clothes, and no love. I became a street beggar just to stay alive.

A normal day for me is full of struggle. I wake up early, usually cold and hungry. I walk around town begging for something to eat—sometimes people help, but many times they ignore me or chase me away. I go days without food. When I do eat, it’s usually scraps, or someone might give me a little bit of bread or porridge.

The hardest part of my day is the night. I sleep outside—on pavements, in unfinished buildings, or under trees. It gets cold, and I have no blanket. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep, wondering why life turned out this way. It’s hard to describe the feeling of being invisible… like no one in the world sees you or cares.

But what keeps me going is my faith in Jesus. I am a believer, and even in this suffering, I trust that God hasn’t forgotten me. I pray every day. I believe He can send someone to help. That hope is what keeps me alive.

People who know me say I’m kind, respectful, and humble. Even though I’m struggling, I try to treat others with love and never give up on kindness. I don’t steal or hurt anyone—I just ask, with honesty, for help.

If I could tell the world one thing, it would be this: "Never take your blessings for granted, and if you can help someone in pain, please do it." Even the smallest act of kindness could save a life like mine. I don’t want riches—I just want a chance to live, to eat, to be safe, and maybe go back to school one day.
