Help Sean & Bri -End of the Trail was Burglarized.

Donation protected
On July 3rd, Sean and Bri woke up to find out their bar was broken into and that they had been burglarized. They are devastated. After opening the bar last July they’ve had a lot of things happen and they’ve been through a lot.

Last year Brianna worked hard to finish her schooling for her job, they finally had the bar opened after two years of construction and jumping through all the hoops with the city and then they found out they were expecting ! Things were looking up.

They had only been open a short while when Brianna had to be taken to Portland and be on bed rest because her water broke seven weeks early, they were in the hospital for 12 days. Little Sawyer was born and he had come six weeks early so he needed to stay in the NICU for 16 days after he was born. The day came they finally were heading home with their little man and on that same day - Kate Brown ordered all the bars and restaurants to close due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. As much as they were excited to bring their baby boy home, they now were facing a whole other problem.

So they made it through the shut down which lasted for two and a half months, and have been reopened since the beginning of June. They were ready to move into a new place. Sean had put all the effort he could into keeping the bar a safe environment for everyone while having business picking up. Fourth of July was coming up and things seemed to be better, until this morning.

The thief went in sometime during the night fully covered and with a mask. He broke into The End Of The Trail. While Sean had a good camera system, he had a new one that had more protection ready to be set up that just arrived, as his previous one didn’t alert the police of a break in. The thief had a garbage bin out back and filled it to the brim with two different safes, sports memorabilia, Sean’s credit cards that were locked in his office, the POS system and anything else he saw that was worth anything. Like I said, they are absolutely DEVASTATED.

Insurance only covers so much and while they are doing everything possible to try and find who did it- the reality is dark. They don’t want to ask for help, but people are offering so I wanted to set up a way for them too. They don’t deserve this, they have a new baby boy at home and are unsure of the future. It’s a small community and we are in the middle of a pandemic so many are suffering - but if you can help at all, please donate or share. Our little corner of the world has always been great about taking care of one another, but it’s tough times for everyone. There will be updates on here about the situation and the bar status, they are wanting to be able to open on the Fourth of July to support the locals only invite.

Thank you everyone !
